Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The Center for Kidney Care ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website. It applies to this website only. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

Last updated: October 10, 2026.

Important: this website is not for medical information

This website is a general information and contact tool. Please do not submit protected health information, medical history, test results, or other sensitive health details through our website forms or by email. Those channels are not the appropriate place for that information.

The privacy of your medical records is governed by federal health-privacy law (HIPAA) and by our practice's separate Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this Policy. To view your records, message your care team, or share health information securely, use the DaVita MyChart patient portal, which has its own privacy and security terms. For anything urgent, call our office at (856) 222-1975.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact or appointment-request form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (required for appointment requests and optional for general inquiries), the office and service you are interested in, and the message you write. We ask that you keep these messages general and free of sensitive health information.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as your device and browser type, the pages you view, the links you click, how you reached the site, scroll depth, and general engagement. If you arrive from an online advertisement, we may store a click identifier (for example, a Google "gclid") to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

We do not knowingly collect health information through the website, and we do not ask you to provide it.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • respond to your inquiries and appointment requests, and contact you about them;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the website and understand how it is used;
  • measure and improve our advertising and outreach; and
  • protect the website against spam, abuse, and security threats.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember advertising attribution, and gather aggregate analytics. These include Google services (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion measurement) and a click-attribution cookie set when you arrive from an ad.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings. Note that blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the website and our practice:

  • Service providers who act on our behalf — for example, our email-delivery provider (Mailgun) to transmit form submissions to our office, our spam-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile), our analytics and advertising providers (Google), our website hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), and error-monitoring tools. These providers may process information only to provide their services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our patients, staff, or practice.

Data retention and security

We keep form submissions and related information only as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business and recordkeeping purposes, then dispose of them appropriately. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information transmitted through the website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is another reason not to send sensitive health information through website forms.

Your choices

  • You may decline to provide information through our forms; you can always reach us by phone at (856) 222-1975 instead.
  • You can control cookies and analytics as described above.
  • You can ask us about the information you submitted through the website by contacting us.

Third-party links

Our website links to third-party sites and services, including the DaVita MyChart patient portal, affiliated hospitals, dialysis centers, and patient-resource organizations. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
