Samir Shah, MD

Dr. Samir Shah is a board-certified physician in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine, dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care through a comprehensive yet compassionate approach. With extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of kidney disease, Dr. Shah combines clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to understanding each patient's individual needs and helping them achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Dr. Shah specializes in all aspects of kidney care, including chronic kidney disease, pre-dialysis management, pre- and post-kidney transplant care, polycystic kidney disease, complex hypertension, electrolyte disturbances, and kidney stone prevention. His approach emphasizes early intervention, thoughtful treatment planning, patient education, and the development of lasting relationships built on trust and personalized care.

He currently sees patients at the practice's locations in Hainesport, Burlington, and Hamilton, with an additional office in Marlton coming soon. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Shah is proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Shah earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, where he developed a strong foundation in the management of complex kidney disorders. He joined the practice in 2008 and has since remained committed to serving the community and advancing the quality of kidney care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, skiing, and exploring his creative side through art.
