Myra Vargas, MD

Myra Vargas, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist with The Center for Kidney Care, a long-established kidney care practice serving patients across South Jersey, with offices in Hainesport, Burlington Township, and Hamilton Township.

Dr. Vargas completed her nephrology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. She trained in internal medicine during her residency at Montefiore Medical Center, the university hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she also earned her medical degree. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University. Dr. Vargas is affiliated with Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Virtua Mount Holly Hospital, and Virtua Willingboro Hospital, and she cares for patients in both English and Spanish.

As part of The Center for Kidney Care, which has served the South Jersey community since 1987, Dr. Vargas brings this depth of training to the diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease, hypertension, and related conditions. She works alongside the practice's team of board-certified nephrologists to provide attentive, comprehensive care close to home.
